Mechanical design consists of the application of engineering to dimension and shape our ideas, with the main purpose of moving from the idea to mechanical creation and thus satisfy our needs that require our attention every day.
Geometric relationship and motor power to use
In this section, a calculator was made to identify the propeller geometry and engine power, it can be applied to:
1. Axial flow impellers: they are mostly used for mixing miscible fluids.
2. Radial flow impellers: recommended for low to medium viscosity fluids and effective for dispersing gas-liquid and liquid-liquid systems.
3. High Efficiency Impellers: Developed to maintain high axial flow with low shear.
